About Us




Occupational Therapy Essex is an independent occupational therapy practice specialising in working with children with sensory processing difficulties, Developmental Coordination Disorder/Dyspraxia, hypermobility, Autism, developmental delay and handwriting difficulties.

We work directly with families, with schools and with Local Authorities. Assessment and intervention is usually provided at schools in Essex, Havering and Thurrock.

Assessment can be provided informally to provide practical advice or as part of the Education, Health and Care Plan assessment process.

Every family or school can expect a personalised service and individual attention.  Goals are set to meet each individual’s priorities and are worked towards within agreed timescales.
